Russian B1 Verbs of Motion Drill: Directional Prefixes
CEFR Level: B1 Target Skill: Active production of Russian verbs of motion with directional prefixes (e.g., в-, вы-, при-, у-, под-, от-, пере-, до-, про-, за-, с-).
Examples of Transformation:
- Original: Я *шёл* в магазин. (I was walking to the store.)
Target: *Прийти/приходить* (to arrive) Instruction: Transform the sentence to mean "I *arrived* at the store." Transformed: Я *пришёл* в магазин.
- Original: Он *едет* из города. (He is driving from the city.)
Target: *Выехать/выезжать* (to leave by vehicle) Instruction: Transform the sentence to mean "He *left* the city (by vehicle)." Transformed: Он *выехал* из города.
